Swades, Live !ndia is een Nederlands bedrijf met een Indiaas hart. Velen verliezen hun hart aan India en willen India altijd bij zich houden. Wij bieden u de unieke mogelijkheid om India in huis te halen. Waarom Swades? Swades betekent motherland, homeland, je "thuis". Live !ndia, betekent voor ons zoveel als, beleef India! Als je je hart verliest aan India, vind je het nooit meer terug!

Onze producten en ontwerpen komen oorspronkelijk uit de provincie Rajasthan, de staat waar de mooiste koninklijke paleizen staan. De grandeur van de Maharadja's is nog steeds aanwezig. De ontwerpers halen hun inspiratie uit het kleurrijke en majestueuze Rajasthan en dat is terug te zien in onze producten.

Maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen staat bij ons hoog in het vaandel. Wij veroordelen kinderarbeid, derhalve worden onze meubels door vakmensen vervaardigd. Wij maken geen gebruiken van illegaal gekapt hout.

Our products and designs are from the state of Rajasthan, the state with the most beautiful palaces. The grandeur of the Maharadja's is still present. The designers are continously inspired by the colourful and majestic state of Rajasthan, which is visible in our products.

Ethics are very important to us. We condemn child labour, we ensure that our products have not been made by children and furthermore the wood we use has not been acquired illegally.
